I picked up a mandolin mostly because I thought it looked fun, and it is. I'm not pursuing it seriously — it's just one of those things I'm messing around with on the side. Somewhere between a guitar and a curiosity.
One thing I've noticed: there are surprisingly few mandolin tabs out there for a lot of songs I'd actually want to play. Guitar tabs are everywhere; mandolin tabs, not so much. So I'm thinking about putting some together myself and posting them here over time — partly for my own reference, partly in case anyone else is looking for the same things.
